Morrison & Foerster has recruited Vivian Yiu as partner in the corporate department of the firm’s Hong Kong office from Allen & Overy. 

Yiu specialises in Hong Kong capital markets offerings and China-focused M&A transactions. Her practice covers IPOs, rights issues and placings, and listings and private placements. She also advises corporate clients based in greater China on public and private M&A matters in Hong Kong and Asia.

“Vivian’s technical capabilities, fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese, and deep experience dealing with both Chinese and international companies make her a strong addition to our highly experienced team of corporate lawyers in Hong Kong,” said Eric Piesner, firmwide managing partner for Asia, in a statement.
