IP law firm Rouse has appointed Hong Kong barrister Doug Clark as its global head of dispute resolution. Clark will be based in the firm’s Hong Kong and Shenzhen offices, with the latter office opening just last month.

Clark is a patent litigation expert with more than 25 years’ of IP litigation and commercial law experience in China. Since 2010, Clark has practiced as a barrister appearing in IP cases and appeals at all levels in Hong Kong.

Prior to becoming a barrister, Clark spent nearly 18 years with Hogan Lovells, where he established the firm’s Mainland China IP practice. He also founded and served as managing partner of that firm’s Shanghai office.
