Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), India’s largest law firm, has poached corporate partner Anuj Prasad in Delhi from rival Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) and named him head of its aerospace and defence practice.

This is the second long-term SAM lawyer hired by CAM in a matter of weeks. Shortly before this, CAM snapped up ex-SAM corporate partner Varun Sehgal.

Prasad, who spent almost five years as partner at SAM, originally joined the legacy Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. in 2006, moving to SAM after the split in 2015.

Prasad focuses on M&A, private equity and joint ventures.
