India’s Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. has hired technology specialist Hemant Krishna as a partner in Bengaluru from Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan.

With over 14 years of experience, Krishna has experience in sectors like Web3, online gaming, fintech, e-commerce, digital health, and SaaS. He advises on cross-border M&A, fundraising, strategic alliances, licensing arrangements, R&D collaborations, joint ventures, divestitures, outsourcing transactions, regulatory advice, and data and cybersecurity due diligence.

Before joining Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan as a partner in 2020, Krishna worked for Aureus Law Partners, Luthra & Luthra Law Offices and Phoenix Legal.

His arrival means SAM now has six partners in Bengaluru.
