U.S. firm King & Spalding has recruited Parveet Singh Gandoak as a partner in Singapore from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he was a counsel.

Gandoak’s practice focuses on corporate transactions, including cross-border M&A, investments, joint ventures, secondary transactions, exits, restructurings and capital markets.

Prior to joining Skadden, Gandoak worked with law firms such as Debevoise & Plimpton and Dechert. Named as one of ALB Asia’s Top 15 Rising Lawyers 2021, he is also a former radio jockey,

King & Spalding currently has 14 partners in Singapore. In July, it lost arbitration partner Chris Bailey to Stephenson Harwood.
