Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed debt capital markets expert Margie Chan as a partner in Hong Kong from Davis Polk & Wardwell, where she was a counsel.

Chan, who spent more than a decade at Davis Polk, advised banks, underwriters and issuers. Her recent work has included advising China Vanke on its participation in a consortium to acquire Global Logistic Properties Ltd., and its related loan financing to China Vanke.

Norton Rose Fulbright recently entered into a formal law alliance (FLA) in Singapore with local dispute resolution boutique Ascendant Legal.
