Dentons Rodyk & Davidson has witnessed the departure of six partners, including five in the corporate real estate practice who headed to Rajah & Tann.

Dentons Rodyk also lost arbitration and litigation partner Lok Vi Ming SC, who will start his own dispute resolution practice.The firm additionally hired Edmund Leow SC, a former judicial commissioner who helped set up Baker & McKenzie’s Singapore JLV, as a senior partner and head of its tax practice 

The group of real estate lawyers headed to Rajah & Tann is led by partner Norman Ho and includes four other partners  -- Chou Ching, Cindy Quek, Gazalle Mok and Shijie Tan – as well as two associates.

Ho, 60, began his career at the legacy Rodyk & Davidson. “I have seen the firm grow from a 14-lawyer firm to one of the largest in Singapore and am proud to be associated with the firm," he said in an interview with the Straits Times.
