Indian law firm AZB & Partners has hired corporate lawyer Sudish Sharma as a partner in Delhi from Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, where he was an executive partner.

With more than 20 years of experience, Sharma advises on M&A, inbound and outbound foreign investments, joint ventures, collaborations, restructurings and due diligence. Before his decade-long stint at LKS, Sharma headed Fox Mandal’s corporate team. He started his career at Khaitan & Co in 2000.

Sharma becomes AZB’s fourth lateral partner hire this year after the additions of corporate partner Aarthi Sivanandh in Chennai from J Sagar Associates, aviation lawyer Sarah Jayne Rufus in Mumbai from airline IndiGo, and labour expert Ajay Singh Solanki from Nishith Desai Associates, also in Mumbai. The firm now has 57 partners in Delhi.
