Global law firm DLA Piper has added real estate attorney Ciarán Londra as a partner in Singapore, in line with its long-term strategic goal of enhancing real estate capabilities in the region.

Londra, who was previously a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, focuses on advising Asia-based clients with their outbound real estate investments, primarily into the UK, U.S., French and German markets. He has particular expertise in investment, development, corporate and real estate finance transactions.

Londra “will bring to us an additional capability in the region and leadership for DLA Piper’s real estate practice in Singapore,” said William Naunton, international group head of that practice, in a statement.

“Enhancing our real estate capabilities in Asia is a long-term strategic priority for the firm. Singapore is a key office in our Asia network, and Ciarán’s appointment significantly enhances our client offering,” added Satpal Gobindpuri, regional managing partner for Asia.

Londra becomes DLA Piper’s fourth real estate partner in the Singapore office, which now has 10 partners in total.

The Anglo-American firm expanded its tax offerings in Singapore earlier this year with the addition of partner Barbara Voskamp, who previously headed the Singapore office of Dutch law firm Loyens & Loeff.
