Offshore law firm Conyers has hired veteran disputes lawyer Mark Yeadon as its head of Hong Kong disputes and restructuring practice from Eversheds Sutherland, where he led the Asia litigation and dispute management practice.

With more than four decades of experience in London and Hong Kong, Yeadon specialises in the resolution of commercial disputes by arbitration, court proceedings and mediation. His clients include multinational corporates and banks across Asia.

Prior to joining Eversheds, Yeadon spent 22 years at Slaughter and May, leaving that firm in 2010 as the head of its litigation practice in Hong Kong.

At Conyers, he will head a disputes practice that welcomed partner Michael Makridakis in April. The offshore firm now has 15 partners in Hong Kong, including three specialising in disputes.
