Job Summary:

• You will report to the General Counsel - Australia and Asia.
• You will join our Asia business at an exciting time; we have ambitious expansion plans in the region, both in terms of where we operate and the products we reinsure.
• Our clients and prospective clients have business presence in many different countries including Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Indonesia.
• You will play a key role in supporting the Asia business, as we seek regulatory permissions to grow our business in new territories.
• The role will include taking the lead on legal aspects of reinsurance documentation.
• Working closely with our Asia management team, you will also identify and take ownership of legal, regulatory and compliance issues relating to the Asia business, and provide day to day legal support.
• We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years’ post qualification experience.
