This leading global law firm has a large, international team of banking and finance lawyers. The banking and finance practice is recognised for providing innovative and intellectually meticulous solutions for their clients that are often ‘first of a kind’. The team often works cross-practice with other groups within the firm. 

We are looking for 2 mid/senior Associates to join the dynamic banking and finance practice based in Hong Kong. The team currently comprises a number of established partners, several seniors and approximately a dozen associates. 

The successful candidate will work regularly with colleagues in the China offices and across the APAC region. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the firm's established Hong Kong banking clients, enabling you to develop client relationships and your knowledge across a variety of financing transactions. 

The successful candidate must have strong general banking and leveraged finance credentials (4-6 years PQE). You must be versatile, capable of working effectively across banking product lines. You will have strong drafting skills and be a self-starter. You will be dependable and have good interpersonal skills, able to work with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds. Fluent Mandarin skills are an advantage, but are not essential.
