Responsibilities:

• Advising issuers and international investment banks in investment grade bond offering
• Advises in matters involving different credit enhancement structures, public and private high yield bond offerings, liability management exercises such as consent solicitation and tender offers
• Act as US counsel in initial public offerings on the Stock Exchange in Hong Kong
• Advise on general capital markets matters

Requirements:　

• At least 4 to 7 years post-qualification experience; admitted as a Solicitor in the US
• Solid knowledge and understanding of Hong Kong Capital Markets with exceptional knowledge in Debt Capital Markets or related experience
• Background of working in a top tier international or US law firm
• Ability to move into a leading supervisory role and fast tracks to Partnership for the right candidate
• Ability to produce commercially astute advice for building client relationships, and to work effectively with partners and juniors in the team
• Highly competitive package which can include COLA depending on the profile of the US lawyer
• Strong fluency in English (spoken; reading and writing is essential)
• Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required
