Asian Legal Business has begun accepting nominations for ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2017. Now in its fifth year, the event will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Kuala Lumpur.
The ALB Malaysia Law Awards is a celebration and recognition of legal excellence in the country and the region. This year’s 38 award categories will highlight the achievements of Malaysia’s top dealmakers, firms, in-house teams and individual categories. The list of finalists will be announced in February 2017.
The awards have been expanded this year to include new categories such as:
- ASEAN Practice of the Year
- East Malaysia Law Firm of the Year
- West Malaysia Law Firm of the Year
- Mediation Law Firm of the Year
- Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law Firm of the Year
- Woman Lawyer of the Year
- Barrister of the Year

The nominations will be judged by a select group of impartial experts, including key in-house lawyers and industry specialists. Please download the nomination form here.
All nominations must be submitted using in the ALB nomination form. The deadline for submissions is Monday, February 13, 2017.
