J. Sagar Associates has continued its hot hiring streak in 2024 with the addition of disputes partner Shreya Sircar in Delhi. She was most recently a partner at Luthra and Luthra Law offices, a stint that lasted less than a year.

Sircar has 14 years of experience in commercial dispute resolution, particularly in complex shareholder disputes, contractual claims, corporate insolvency resolution proceedings, and disputes in the TMT sector.

She was named one of the ALB India Top Female lawyers in 2023.

Sircar joined Bharucha & Partners as a partner in 2021 after close to nine years at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. She joined Luthra in February 2023, only to quit in January this year, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Her hire closely follows JSA’s additions of an IndusLaw disputes team in Delhi, an M&A team from SAM, a disputes team from K Law in Mumbai, and a real estate team from DSK Legal in Bengaluru.
