Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) has hired corporate specialist Janney Chong as a partner in its Hong Kong office from Sidley Austin.

Chong’s expertise includes acting for both issuers and underwriters of listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as takeovers and mergers of HKSE-listed companies. She has advised on over 30 Hong Kong IPOs during her career.

Her appointment comes after Jeremy Cunningham, an M&A and private equity specialist, joined the as partner in Hong Kong from Mayer Brown JSM in November last year. 

RPC said in a statement that the firm is continuing to grow its Hong Kong corporate finance practice.
