Japanese law firm Atsumi & Sakai has hired corporate lawyer Aoi Koyanagi as a partner from White & Case, where she was an associate.

Koyanagi advises on corporate matters such as asset management, investment, corporate governance and cross-border M&A.

She becomes the third lateral partner for Atsumi & Sakai this year. Back in March, the firm recruited finance specialist Taku Sonoura from Nishimura & Asahi, while in February, it added corporate practitioner Fumiyo Doi from GE Healthcare.
