Malaysian firm LAW Partnership has appointed intellectual property and technology specialist Ameet Kaur Purba as a partner in Kuala Lumpur from Shearn Delamore & Co.

Purba, who spent around two decades at Shearn, specialises in data protection laws and manages IP due diligence for clients. She also advises on cross-border and domestic disputes and transactions related to trademarks, and IP portfolio management in the life sciences and oil and gas industry.

With Purba joining LAW Partnership, the firm now has four partners.
