K&L Gates Straits Law, the Singapore office of K&L Gates, has added Marius Toime as a corporate partner from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP).

Toime’s exit from BCLP’s Singapore office follows the departures of six lawyers to Reed Smith, including partners Manoj Purushothaman and Simon Spells.

Toime advises multinationals and global funds on cross-border corporate transactions and projects in sustainable energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.

K&L Gates also recently hired counsel Nicolet-Serra from Simmons & Simmons. With Toime’s hire, the Singapore office now has 11 partners.
