Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has advised Japan’s Zensho Holdings on its $621 million acquisition of UK-based restaurant chain Snowfox Group, which was represented by DLA Piper.

According to Nikkei, this is the largest acquisition for Zensho, a holding company that owns several restaurant chains in Japan. Snowfox is a global sushi platform offering Japanese food under four brands: Snowfox, Bento, Taiko, and YO!. The company primarily operates restaurants in the UK and North America.

The Gibson Dunn team was led by partners Scott Jalowayski, Till Lefranc, Michelle Gourley, Rachel Brass, Sebastien Evrard, and Sandy Bhogal.

Meanwhile, the DLA team was led by partner Yunus Maka, supported by partners David Smith, Matt Duncombe, Ruth Williamson, David Richardson, Paolo Morante, and Rachel Hamilton.
