Jazzmine Khoo & Associates was recently named as a joint winner of the Matrimonial and Family Law Firm of the Year award at the 10th ALB Malaysia Law Awards. In this conversation with ALB, its managing partner, Jazzmine Khoo, talks about what sets her firm apart from its peers.

Congratulations on being named the Matrimonial and Family Law Firm of the year. Can you introduce your firm to our readers and discuss some notable highlights in your journey so far?

Thank you. My firm’s main area of practice focuses on Matrimonial and Family Law. A remarkable journey by far is being the winner of Matrimonial and Family Law Firm for two years in a row (in 2022 and 2023) and being featured as Successful People In Malaysia by British Encyclopaedia III edition in 2021.

Can you tell us more about the different matrimonial and family law cases your firm handles?

My firm does divorce (mutual or contested), child application, spousal maintenance, assets distribution, citizenship, adoption, cross-border cases and many more.

How does your firm ensure clients receive the support they need during an emotionally difficult time?

We provide special attention to each of our clients.

What unique strategies or tactics does your firm employ in achieving successful outcomes for clients in matrimonial and family law cases?

Our main aim is to help our clients to walk out from their traumatised marriages and for them to move on, as well as the passion that we have in this field.

What sets your firm’s matrimonial and family law practice apart from others in the industry, and how have you achieved such notable success in this area?

Our passion, aim and special attention that we provide to our clients.
