Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas has hired Shashwat Kumar as a partner in the firm’s projects and project finance practice in Delhi from Link Legal India Law Services.

Kumar specialises in infrastructure and regulatory laws in India. He has over 13 years of experience in advising public sector companied and multinationals in the infrastructure sector on a range of regulatory and policy issues including general consulting, compliance and representation before regulators.

Kumar was earlier a director at PDS Legal prior to which he held the role of manager at Dua Associates.

This is SAM’s second hire in Delhi this year, after it welcomed Rajat Bose as a partner in the tax practice from EY.
