Allens and Henry Davis York have announced new internal partner appointments  - one for HDY and seven for Allens. "The promotion to partnership is recognition of this group's legal expertise and their deep engagement with the firm's clients throughout the region,' said Allens Chairman, Ian Wallace.

In addition to its partnership announcement, HDY has also announced 10 new senior associates and a further six special counsel. Half of the promotions announced were within the banking, restructuring and insolvency practice group, with five lawyers promoted to senior associate and three to special counsel.
