Exciting opportunity for a top quality investigation associate required to join this small but growing international arbitration team in Asia out of Singapore.  You will advise local and global clients conducting business throughout the Asian Pacific region.

Over 1800 lawyers situated across 25 offices in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Strong global client base with current workload being investigations work for life sciences and global pharma clients in China and across SE Asia.

The firm in general has a sector focus including energy and natural resources, international arbitration, shipping, financial services, media and technology, life sciences.  The partners are highly regarded in the Asian market, and their clients span a range of industry sectors.

The Right Candidates

 

  • this role would suit an associate who is seeking long term career prospects, increased responsibility and the opportunity to work closely with partners and clients on a day to day basis.
  • 1-4 years’ post qualification experience in DR/ IA preferably with exposure to investigations work from a well-regarded firm
  • Self-confident, proactive, pragmatic approach to tasks and projects
  • Ability to work well in both a team and individually
  • Desire to be proactively involved in business development and marketing with a view to handling networking and client contact from the outset
  • Effectively Bi-lingual (English & Mandarin) although the majority of the work will be conducted in English
  • US bar preference but candidates that meet the above requirements with other common las qualifications will be considered (E&W, SG, HK, ANZ)

 

This is a Singapore based role but candidates from the US, HK, Beijing or across Asia are welcome to apply if open to relocation.
