Nishith Desai Associates has opened an office in New York City, its second in the United States and eighth globally.

The New York office, which will offer Indian law advice, is led by Mansi Seth, an international tax, funds and corporate lawyer.

Headquartered in Mumbai, the firm also has offices in Bangalore, New Delhi, Palo Alto, Munich and Singapore.

“It has always been our endeavor to stay close to our clients, develop deep insights into their businesses, find timely solutions to their problems and provide maximum convenience for interaction with us. With offices in Palo Alto and New York, we will be able to more effectively take on new opportunities and meet the growing demand of our clients in the North American region,” the firm said in a statement.
