Baker McKenzie has hired Paul Teo as a dispute resolution partner in Hong Kong and appointed him as the firm's head of arbitration for Greater China.

Teo also works on commercial disputes and disputes stemming from projects spanning the energy, infrastructure and construction industries as well as the telecommunications and offshore and marine sectors in Hong Kong and across Asia.

He has nearly two decades of experience acting as counsel and solicitor in disputes involving international and domestic arbitration, adjudication, alternative dispute resolution and court proceedings.

Until 2015, Teo was at Hogan Lovells, where he was the joint head of international arbitration practice in Southeast Asia. He joined Hogan Lovells from Pinsent Masons in 2009.

He is also a chartered arbitrator and regularly serves on ad-hoc and institutional cases.
