Chandler MHM has hired four lawyers from Clifford Chance’s Bangkok office including partner Joseph Tisuthiwongse, months after the UK firm announced it would be ceasing its Thai operations.

The other lawyers are Siregran Sakuliampaiboon, Disaporn Saengpetch and Teerin Vanikieti. The team will join CMHM on Jan. 1.

Tisuthiwongse, is a corporate lawyer specialising in project finance, renewable energy and M&A. He has represented Thai and international lenders and developers in connection with power projects including conventional, wind, geothermal and solar projects. Having joined Clifford Chance in 2008, he was promoted to partner in 2013.

The team’s arrival takes the total headcount of CMHM to 59 lawyers, including 17 partners. Clifford Chance’s Bangkok office now has seven lawyers, including partner Andrew Matthews.
