Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has appointed Mukul Sharma as a corporate partner in New Delhi from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, less than a month after Nivedita Tiwari headed in the other direction.

This is the second hire for CAM in about a week, with the firm adding funds specialist Vedant Shukla as a partner at its Mumbai office from IDFC Alternatives, where he was a vice-president for legal.

With more than 10 years of experience advising clients in sectors such as broadcasting, real estate, hospitality and e-commerce, Sharma’s areas of focus include mergers and acquisitions, private equity, general corporate, securities laws, and labour and employment.

Prior to working at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Sharma worked with AZB & Partners at their Mumbai office. He started his career at the legacy Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co.
