Gordon Dadds, one of the initial wave firms in the UK to go public, has opened its first international office in Hong Kong.

According to the firm, the Hong Kong outpost has been established to complement the offering from its London headquarters, and to aid the growing number of Asian, particularly Chinese, clients with business or personal interests in the UK.

The new office, led by partner Alan Ma, will specialise in property and corporate matters. It has three registered foreign lawyers and three legal assistants in total.

Gordon Dadds made news in 2017 after becoming the second law firm to list on the London Stock Exchange. It followed in the footsteps of Gateley and Keystone, and was succeeded by Rosenblatt.

Besides its offices in London and Hong Kong, the firm also has a presence in the Welsh city of Cardiff.
