Corporate lawyer Eunice Yao has returned to Dentons Rodyk & Davidson as partner in its corporate practice group in Singapore from Fortis Law Corporation, where she was associate director.

Yao’s areas of expertise include capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and fintech. Her clients include medical groups, education companies, real estate companies, oil and gas supply chain entities and technology companies.

Yao began her career at Rodyk & Davidson. She has since worked at several organisations, including Wong Tan & Molly Lim, Opal Lawyers, DBS Bank and TSMP Law Corporation.

Yao’s appointment follows the hire of Yi Jing Teo, who joined Dentons Rodyk as a corporate partner last month from Charles-Lim Capital. Also last month Evelyn Ang, former senior partner at Dentons Rodyk, left to launch EY’s local law offering in Singapore.
