Indian law firm Trilegal has strengthened its offering in the southern city of Bengaluru with the appointment of Arjun Ghose as a partner from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.

Ghose is the eighth partner in Trilegal’s Bengaluru office, which also has two counsels. His practice areas include structured finance, banking and corporate finance, debt restructuring, insolvency, general corporate, telecommunications, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity.

Ghose’s appointment is Trilegal’s first partner hire since July, when it added Ganesh Rao and Aditya Jha as partners to its asset management and funds practice in Mumbai.

With the arrival of Ghose, the partnership strength of Trilegal is currently at 44. Apart from Mumbai and Bengaluru, the firm also has offices in Delhi and Gurgaon.
