India’s Veritas Legal has hired corporate lawyer Srabonee Roy as a partner in Mumbai from rival Samvad Partners.

Roy spent six years at J Sagar Associates (JSA) prior to joining Samvad in April last year. She also had stints at Desai & Diwanji, I&S Associates N South (formerly NDLO South) and Gagrat & Co.

Specialising in cross border M&A, private equity and joint ventures, Roy represents clients in the pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, fintech and franchising sectors.

With the addition of Roy, Veritas Legal now has seven partners.
