K&L Gates has hired Susan Munro as a counsel in the firm’s international arbitration practice from Steptoe & Johnson, where she was a partner.

Having worked with Steptoe for over 12 years, Munro specialises in international arbitration, investigations and risk assessment, international regulatory compliance, ethics and corporate governance, employment, along with other selected transactional representations.

A former chief representative of Steptoe’s Beijing office, Munro relocated to Hong Kong in 2019 to help launch the firm’s office in the SAR.
