Mayer Brown has hired energy expert Justin Tan as a partner in Singapore from Clyde & Co.

Tan, who has expertise in corporate transactions, infrastructure projects and international energy and commodity trade, has advised clients such as Total SA, Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, Sinochem and Blackstone, as well as the governments of the Philippines and Vietnam.

Tan joined Clyde & Co in 2015 from Dentons Rodyk & Davidson. He previously worked for Allen & Overy, WongPartnership and Lee & Lee.

With Tan’s addition, Mayer Brown now has 11 partners in Singapore.
