UK-headquartered law firm Stephenson Harwood has recruited corporate finance specialist Justin Ma as a partner in Hong Kong from the PRC’s Jingtian & Gongcheng.

Specialising in corporate finance, Ma advises clients, including investment banks and corporations on IPOs, M&As, spin-offs, convertible bond issuances, rights issues and other compliance matters related to listing companies with a focus on industries such as TMT, healthcare, and energy.

Ma becomes Stephenson Harwood’s second lateral partner hire this year in Asia this month. A few weeks ago, the firm landed Jonathan Goacher, the former head of regulatory for Asia at Hill Dickinson.

With Ma’s addition, Stephenson Harwood now has 20 partners in Hong Kong.
