Bengaluru-based private equity-focused law firm NovoJuris Legal has opened two offices in the U.S. One caters to companies looking to enter the U.S., while the other focuses on U.S. immigration law.

The U.S. entity, NovoJuris Legal LLC, will be run by two new partners. Richard Devlin (L), who most recently was in-house general counsel at cryptocurrency company Unicoin, will operate from Pennsylvania and focus on corporate and commercial transactions for companies conducting business in the U.S.

Harsha Venkatesh, who previously consulted on visa applications across categories and U.S. permanent residency, will run the New Jersey outpost and focus on human resources and U.S. immigration. Venkatesh’s practice has clients in the bio-pharma, IT & ITES, media and entertainment, automotive design engineering and education verticals in the U.S., India, South Korea and Japan.

NovoJuris founder Sharda Balaji will drive the strategic growth and development of the U.S. offices, the firm said in a statement.
