Global law firm Ashurst has advised Australia’s Mirvac Group on its acquisition of land lease operator Serenitas from Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC for $642.76 million along with Pacific Equity Partners Secure Assets (PEP) and Tasman Capital Partners.
Baker Botts, Ashurst act on $500 mln Australia-Japan LNG deal
U.S. law firm Baker Botts has advised LNG Japan Corporation on its $500 million acquisition of a 10 percent stake in the Scarborough liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Australia from Woodside Energy Group, which was represented by Ashurst.

UK-headquartered law firm Ashurst has hired four partners in Singapore and Seoul. Jean-Louis Neves Mandelli and Scott Baggett (Singapore), and Anna Chung (Seoul) join from Shearman & Sterling, while Lawrence Jhe (also Seoul) joins from Kim, Chang & Lee.
