The Delhi office of Indian law firm L&L Partners has hired litigator Mohit Bakshi as a partner from J Sagar Associates (JSA), and also seen the exit of litigation partner Manmeet Singh to Saraf and Partners.
Veteran corporate lawyer Mohit Saraf recently established his own firm after an acrimonious split from L&L Partners, a firm that he had been a part of since 1995. He tells ALB about why Saraf and Partners, with 21 partners and offices in three cities, will be a different experience for both lawyers and clients.
L&L Partners has hired a six-member infrastructure team in Delhi led by Avirup Nag from rival IndusLaw, weeks after the departures of a number of lawyers to the newly established Saraf & Partners.
Mohit Saraf, an erstwhile equity partner of India’s L&L Partners, has left the firm and launched his own outfit. With offices in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, Saraf & Partners will have more than 85 lawyers, including 21 partners.
