Ashurst has hired Andrew Digges as partner in its resources and infrastructure team in Singapore from Ginting & Reksodiputro, Allen & Overy’s associated office in Indonesia.

Digges spent more than 15 years with Allen & Overy’s global projects group. In 2011 he helped set up the Jakarta office, and had been there since.

Digges has experience in advising on project development and project finance in the power, infrastructure, mining, oil & gas and petrochemical sectors, including Indonesian power projects over the past six years.

“Resources and infrastructure is an area of key strategic focus for the firm,” said Mark Elsey, Ashurst’s global head of resources and infrastructure, in a statement. “Andrew is a seasoned and highly regarded practitioner who will add significant depth to our offering in this area in the Asia region as well as further enhancing our market leading global platform.”
