Watson Farley & Williams has hired disputes expert Guy Hardaker as a consultant in Singapore from the Hong office of Holman Fenwick Willan, where he had been a partner for over a decade.

With more than 40 years of experience, Hardaker advises clients in the commodities and trade finance, shipping, energy, telecoms, and pharmaceuticals and animal health sectors on disputes, including arbitrations. He spent over three decades at HFW across that firm’s London and Hong Kong offices.

Hardaker joins a WFW Singapore disputes team that last month hired construction expert Boon Tat Yeo as a partner from local firm Quahe Woo & Palmer, and welcomed aboard trade and commodities disputes specialist Kimarie Cheang from Incisive Law last year.
