Bangkok-headquartered Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners has appointed capital markets and corporate acquisitions expert Khemajit Choomwattana as a partner from local firm LS Horizon. 

Choomwattana had an 11-year stint with LS Horizon, where he was a partner in its corporate real estate practice group. 

He acts for public and private companies on strategic transactions and has worked on domestic and international offerings. He also advises major clients in the establishment or capital increases of several major property funds for public offering (PFPOs), a structure similar to real estate investment trusts (REITs).  

Weerawong now has a total of 16 partners and 80 associates.
