South Korean Big Six law firm Shin & Kim has hired Young Suk Park as the head of its international dispute resolution practice from KL Partners, where he held a similar role.

Specialising in international arbitration, Park also has non-contentious experience in international transactions. He joined KL Partners in 2018 from investment house Atinum Partners, where he served as general counsel and executive director of its investment committee. In that role, he was involved in investments and transactions in energy, natural resources, real estate, start-ups and public equity sectors. Previously, he was a partner at Kim & Chang.

Park’s hire comes weeks after Shin & Kim added project specialist Claire (Mi-Jin) Kim from Kim & Chang. The firm currently has eight partners in its international arbitration team.
